Thai Lee, born in Thailand to Korean parents, grew up in several countries including Thailand, Germany, Korea and U.S. In 1980, Thai graduated from Amherst College, majoring in Biology and Economics. In 1983, Thai became the first Korean-American woman to enter Harvard Business School and received her MBA degree in 1985. Thai is a “hands-on” CEO, coming to work every day to manager her business. She maintains an open-door policy to employees and is respected both for her firm leadership as well as her humanity. Her management style focuses on leading her company on a day-to-day basis rather than being a more public CEO.
