CMSDC Golf Outing this Friday - July 11 at Lyman Orchards CC The CMSDC Annual Supplier Diversity Day Golf Classic is this Friday at Lyman Orchards. This event is one of the largest golf outings in the New England. This year we will have 240 golfers playing on two world class courses, the Jones course and the Player course at Lyman Orchards Country Club. The event, while designed to be a day of fun, is also an important day of business and networking. The golfing is designed to match two corporate players with two MBEs. These foursomes get to spend 4 hours with each other discussing the mysteries of golf, life and business. The day will start at 7:30 AM with continental breakfast. When you arrive the wonderful staff of Lyman Orchards will direct you to your cart. After locating your cart come to the registration area and get your name badges and other information. At registration you can also purchase your raffle tickets. The raffle tickets are going for $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20, or 15 tickets for $40. We have a flat screen TV and a signed Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus Master's Championship golf flag as raffle items along with some other excellent items. So bring some cash! Play begins at 8:30 AM SHARP! Once play starts on both courses players will be served by two refreshment carts on each course. Each course will have a car hole, courtesy of the MBE Winner Ford. Each course will also allow players to qualify for a Million Dollar Hole. The 2 Players who are closest to the pin on each course at the car hole will qualify for the million dollar hole along with one player chosen at random during the raffle. We have prizes for the best golfers on each course. So bring your "A" Game. After all of the golf is done, golfers and others who want to attend will be served a dinner fit for a champion. In fact, if you are not playing, you can still sign up for dinner. So come and be a part of one of the largest charity golf events in the state. Keep your fingers crossed for excellent weather.
