Supplier Diversity Day Golf Classic Great Day Great Turnout
The CMSDC Supplier Diversity Day Golf Classic exceeded all of the
previous attendance records and the weather was spectacular.
Who said Friday the 13th was bad luck? This year we had 264 golfers
filling both courses at the beautiful Lyman Orchards Country
Club! Six years ago we were at 90 golfers.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I thank our sponsors, our
attendees, the Golf Committee and the volunteers. The committee
co-chairs, Peter Maglaris of Fiserv, Ed Rodriguez of Sandoval Associates
and Joe Souza of Foxwoods did a marvelous job. We had great volunteers
who kept the program moving and took great care of the golfers
during the day. Special thanks to Vicencia Adusei for her work
on organizing the volunteers.
A special thanks to the sponsors and all of the companies and
individuals who provided valuable and desirable gifts for our raffles.
Thanks also to the generosity of the players who purchased raffle
tickets and mulligans. This year we also were able to give out
over $2,000.00 in cash and gift card prizes to the winners.
It was a great day. If you are interested in playing next year
consider being a 2008 Annual Sponsor so that your golf is included.
