Ms. Delores Holley - Vice President
Delores Holley is the former Supplier Diversity
Administrator at Northeast Utilities (NU) Service Company. Her overall
responsibility was to manage NU’s small business program, which
includes small, minority and women-owned businesses.
Ms. Holley served on the Board of Directors of CMSDC
for eight years before joining CMSDC staff in 2001. Ms Holley served
as the former chairperson of the Connecticut Minority Supplier Development
Council. She also held the position of secretary and chairperson
for the programs committee. She has held the positions of Loan Executive
for the United Way (Hartford area) and board member of the University
of Connecticut Teenage Minority Entrepreneurship Program (Connecticut).
Presently, Ms. Holley sits on the board of the Opportunities Industrialization
Center (OIC) in New Britain, Connecticut, serves as a NAACP member
and volunteers for Northeast Utilities’ Winter Special Olympics
Program.
In 1999, Ms. Holley received the “Advocate
of the Year” award from the Connecticut Minority Supplier Development
Council.
Ms. Holley graduated from Post College, receiving
a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
