The Metropolitan District Commission

David has been employed by the Metropolitan District Commission, MDC, for the past 10 years as a purchasing agent. Prior to working at the MDC David worked at Northeast Utilities for 21 years. David is responsible for securing goods and services including construction, consulting, security and janitorial. David has 30 years of experience in purchasing. He received his undergraduate degree in administrative science from Central Connecticut State University, and currently resides in West Hartford.

The MDC is a non profit municipal organization chartered by the Connecticut General Assembly in 1929 to provide water and sewage service to eight municipalities. The MDC is also under contract to the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority to manage waste transportation and processing of waste associated with the mid-Connecticut project, a trash to energy facility serving more than 65 Connecticut municipalities.
